SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Mylo Prime LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the law firms that use our platform ("Firms") handle phone numbers and message content in connection with Application-to-Person (A2P) text messages sent through the Mylo Prime service. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

Mobile numbers and SMS content are used solely to:

Mobile phone numbers and SMS content are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. They are not shared with affiliates or used to train shared AI models.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services necessary to deliver the messages.

3. Consent

Recipients consent to receive SMS from a Firm by one or more of: (a) submitting the Firm's public opt-in form (hosted at the Firm's Mylo Prime address, e.g. https://firmname.myloprime.com/forms/sms-opt-in) with the separate SMS-consent checkbox selected; (b) signing a retainer agreement that includes an SMS consent clause; (c) texting START to the Firm's number after a verbal opt-in logged in the matter file.

4. Opt-Out and Help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message from the Firm. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages unless you re-subscribe by replying START. Reply HELP (or INFO) for support contact details.

5. Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies by matter. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Mylo Prime and the Firm do not charge for messages.

6. Retention

SMS records (numbers, content, opt-in and opt-out events) are retained for the life of the matter plus the period required by the Firm's records-retention obligations under applicable law and bar rules, after which they are securely deleted.
