Using the AI Voice Agent

Updated

The AI Voice Agent ($99/line/month, added to a phone line) answers your firm’s calls around the clock. It greets callers, answers questions about your firm, screens potential new clients, books consultations on your real calendar, and takes messages — and it hands off to your staff when a human should take over.

What callers experience

Callers get an immediate, polite answer instead of voicemail. The agent can handle the questions that make up most inbound volume — office hours, directions, “can I schedule a consultation,” “can you take my information” — and collects intake details conversationally rather than making people recite into a machine.

What your team sees

Every AI-handled call produces a transcript, a summary, and any intake information captured, attached to the caller’s contact. New potential clients flow into your intake pipeline with their details already structured. Nothing gets lost on a sticky note.

Staying in control

  • Takeover. Staff can monitor live calls and take over from the AI mid-call when they want to.
  • Escalation rules. Existing clients, urgent matters, and callers who ask for a person get routed to your team per your preferences.
  • Your script. The agent represents your firm — its greeting, the questions it asks, and what it will and won’t discuss are configurable.

What it won’t do

The agent doesn’t give legal advice, doesn’t quote outcomes, and identifies itself honestly when asked. It’s a receptionist, not a lawyer — by design and by policy.

Tuning it

The fastest way to improve the agent is to read a week of its transcripts and note where you’d have said something different — then adjust its instructions. If it mishandled a specific call, send us the details with the caller’s number and time; we review those closely.
