Inviting clients to Mylo Loop
Updated
Mylo Loop is your firm’s client portal — the secure place where clients see their documents, messages, and invoices instead of hunting through email. Client access is free on every plan and doesn’t count toward your seats.
Inviting a client
From the client’s contact record, send a portal invitation to their email address. They set up their own login and see only what you’ve shared on their matters — never anything else in your workspace.
What clients can do
- See shared documents. You choose what’s visible; nothing is shared by default. See Sharing documents securely.
- Message your firm. Portal messages keep case communication out of unsecured email threads and in one place your whole team can see.
- View and pay invoices. Invoices you send appear in their portal with online payment, alongside their payment history.
- See what’s next. Upcoming appointments and key dates you’ve chosen to surface.
What clients cannot do
Clients can’t see internal notes, unshared documents, other matters, other clients, or anything about your firm’s operations. The portal shows exactly what you’ve shared, nothing more.
Helping a client who’s stuck
Most client issues are the same two: the invitation email went to spam, or they’re trying to sign in with a different email than the one you invited. Re-send the invitation from their contact record to fix both — the new link supersedes the old one.
Clients with portal trouble should contact your firm first (you can re-invite and see their sharing status instantly). If something looks broken on our end, send us the details and we’ll dig in.
